Couples Boudoir Photoshoot This Past Weekend with ZORVN Media!

This past weekend I had the pleasure of working with one of my favorite photographers in the city (ZORVN Media) on a 'first-time' project for him & myself! A Couples Boudoir Photoshoot! I have modeled for many boudoir sessions, but this was a first with my significant other involved!

I am additionally very blessed to have such an amazing Partner-in-life who agreed to participate in this project as an 'accessory' model. Without him, these images wouldn't have came out nearly as captivating as I perceive them to be just after reviewing the raw images during our session on Saturday. I am typically always comfortable in front of a camera lens these days but I must say that I was so much more comfortable with his masculine energy involved in this project. I was surprised (and extremely grateful) that he brought a new level of comfort to me in this line of work I have been involved with for the last 4 years.

I am hoping that the dance of feminine and masculine energy between the two of us is truly palpable to my audience within this set of images. ZORVN Media has done an outstanding job of capturing the visual art within the energy dance. I had a real 'feel good' moment during our session when Zoran exclaimed how excited he was to be making art as he was capturing these images of us beautifully intertwined with each other. I really love being part of the artwork - there is nothing like perfecting your craft and then receiving immediate positive feedback during the creation. I am often my own worst critic when it comes to posing & modeling but usually when the photographer has sent over the latest set we have created together... I am in awe at how amazing they turn out. It also takes a great photographer to accomplish this and I am so fortunate to continue working with some of the best creators local to Pittsburgh.

Thank you to my sister and brother-in-law for providing the perfect 'studio' for us to shoot at! Without the proper setting it can (at times) be challenging to capture the feeling/moments during a session... but not always impossible. In this case, the setting perfectly contributed to tying the whole session together!

P.S. - I managed to get at least 4 hours of sleep before this shoot... I spent several hours the night before and the morning of getting prepared to create the magic with ZORVN Media & my love. Thankfully I can hide sleep deprivation pretty well for a few hours in order to get some great art work out of it!
